NEWS FROM THE PALACE OF HOLYROOD HOUSE

For the very first time the Royal Private Apartments in the Palace of Holyrood House will be open to the public this summer. These were the rooms in which the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip lived when visiting Edinburgh. Starting on 21st May and continuing till 10th September, there will be conducted tours of these historic apartments. In addition to all the furnishings and various memorabilia, there will be a display of paintings by Scottish artists which the Royal couple had acquired from the annual exhibitions of the Royal Scottish Academy.

House among Trees, Bowmont Valley (1982)

Amongst the works on display will be my painting “House Among Trees, Bowmont Valley” purchased by Prince Philip in 1982.
